A Group Exhibition and Live Performance, Featuring Art Inspired by Opera

Opening Friday, October 8, 6-10 pm (7:30 pm performance)

An interdisciplinary show that informs and emotionally engages the artist, musician and audience together in sound and color to create a moving experience.

Some of Denver’s great contemporary artists were treated to two acts of beautiful opera carrying the themes of life and love (lust) or loss and death, performed by Soprano Leah Podzimek, Mezzo-Soprano Kira Dills-DeSurra, and pianist Jessica Nilles Kressin. They dispersed to create incredible visual works informed and inspired by the music and its themes which has been curated into this month-long exhibition.

Featured Artists Include: Michael Vacchiano, Steven Morrell, Brett Fox, Jared david paul, Gianna Tesone, Claire McArdle, Eric Anderson, Taylor Herzog, Carmen Richards, Joey kerlin, Kristina Davies, Matthew Bollinger, Xencs LittleWing, Peggy Feliot Jensen, Gregory Forber, Tya A. Anthony, Eriko Tsogo, Jen Starling, Dave Seiler, Dana Barak, Rochelle Johnson, Scott Mccormick, Franke Lucero, Brenda Stumpf,, Margeret Dekoven, Michael Dowling

Attendees at opening night, and a second live performance TBD, will be treated to these same live performances while experiencing the exhibit throughout two gallery spaces, one for each act.

To keep our patrons, musicians and artists safe, masks are required for all unvaccinated/non-immune patrons, and we will maintain A limited capacity of 150 people through the night for this event. All our performers have been vaccinated and will perform without masks.
